Building the Foundation for Civil Legal Advocacy–

The Victim Rights Law Center invites you to participate in Understanding Sexual Assault and Victimization: Building the Foundation for Civil Legal Advocacy, a free, online course that consists of an interactive, web-based training module; a series of short, self-directed assignments; and a live, instructor-led webinar on Thursday, November 30th, from 10 –11:30 AM Pacific (1–2:30 PM Eastern). The course will establish the basic differences between non-intimate partner sexual assault and domestic violence, address the dynamics of victimization and perpetration, and introduce why the civil legal system is needed to meet the most urgent needs of sexual assault survivors.
