The Statewide Sexual Assault Law Enforcement and Prosecutor Training Project
This training aims to increase the capacity of the Criminal Justice System to effectively and empathically respond to, investigate and prosecute sexual violence crimes. The training’s materials and presentations, delivered through a trauma-informed lens, will focus on improving our understanding and handling of sexual violence crimes and their impact on victims and survivors. This is a cross-training event created for both Law Enforcement and Prosecutors. CEUs will be offered.
This two and a half day training will equip participants to implement new and emerging techniques and best practices in sexual assault investigation and prosecution. Following the training, participants will have access to ongoing technical assistance.

Scholarships:
Limited travel scholarships to cover mileage, per diem, and lodging are available. Priority will be given to participants from rural and frontier based agencies. If you wish to apply for a scholarship, you must complete the scholarship portion of registration.
