Join Victim Rights Law Center’s National TA Director Jessica Mindlin and National Immigrant Women’s Advocacy Project Director Leslye Orloff, as we explore best practices and emerging issues when representing immigrant survivors of sexual violence. Specific topics to be addressed include a discussion of survivor safety and privacy, VAWA’s confidentiality protections and immigration cases (including what information is and is not discoverable), U-visa certifications, and emerging issues for lawyers representing survivors in immigration cases.
