November 12, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The focus of these workshops is to engage white folks about:
1.)  How white supremacy culture is showing up in our S/DV organizations
2.)  How we as individuals and as a movement contribute to white supremacy culture
3.)  How we can create strategies to disrupt and strive to dismantle white supremacy culture

People of Color and people of all racial identities are welcome in this space. We know that spaces intended to engage white folks around dismantling racism can be draining for Communities of Color to attend and so want to provide full transparency of the intention of our time together.

Additionally, we want to acknowledge the strong history of Communities of Color leading work to address racism, white supremacy, and other forms of oppression within S/DV in Oregon. We know that white supremacy culture is pervasive within our S/DV movement across the state. If we are truly invested in ending S/DV, we have to consider and confront the ways our movement upholds violence and need those that benefit from racism to engage actively in this work.
