This 40-hour training fulfills the didactic requirement to practice as an adult/adolescent SAE/SANE. After the training, attendees are expected to independently coordinate required clinical and non-clinical components before practicing as an SAE/SANE. Victim advocates and funders recognize the need for effective programs to provide swift housing solutions to survivors of domestic violence. The 2016 VOCA Rule change permitted greater flexibility in funding transitional housing programs for victims.
