Tony GreenThe Oregon District Attorneys Association (ODAA) recently announced that Crook County District Attorney Gary Williams has been elected 2003 president. Williams' one-year term started in January.
Other officers elected during the ODAA Winter Conference were Yamhill County District Attorney Brad Berry, vice-president; and Washington County District Attorney Bob Hermann, secretary/treasurer. Elected as a director was, R. Stephen Atchison, Columbia County District Attorney. Clackamas County District Attorney John Foote and Benton County District Attorney Scott Heiser were re-elected as directors.
Attorney General Hardy Myers, Deschutes County Counsel Richard L. Isham and immediate past president Christopher Brauer from Umatilla County complete the ODAA Executive Committee.
The association provides coordinated training, continuing education and research services to district attorneys throughout the state. It also represents the interests of district attorneys on issues of statewide importance.
