"Education"
The ICAC Task Force will assist in community education efforts regarding the prevention of Internet Crimes Against Children. Participating agencies will receive investigative training that will enhance the effectiveness of enforcement actions.
"Investigation"
All ICAC Task Force investigations will be conducted in a spirit of cooperation. Cases will be initiated by referrals from the CyberTipline, Internet Service Providers, or other law enforcement agencies, and by information gathered through subject interviews, documented public sources, public complaints.
"Computer Forensics"
The ICAC Task Force will provide computer forensic analysis for participating agencies and/or assist with the seizures of computer evidence as necessary.
Together we can protect Oregon's children from online exploitation.
It is a goal of the Oregon ICAC Task Force to develop partnerships with local law enforcement agencies. Through this partnership, the Oregon ICAC Task Force can provide local law enforcement agencies with investigative support, technical expertise, and assistance with computer forensic examinations.
